This is really a post for yesterday--when it was a steamy 90+ degrees out! Promised the girls I would get the pool up and running---until I discovered a tiny pinpoint hole right in the bottom edge! Ugh! So I put the hole on an upward slant in the yard and put a few inches of water in it (because there was NO turning back once Ella saw the pool and the hose come out. Lily also tried it out, but as luck would have it, the batteries on my camera died mid way through--so after changing them out, I settled for a picture of her relaxing in the house later, with her big smile on her face. That's my beautiful Lily! The Big dog in the middle is our outside farm dog, Sadie. She's 11 yr. old and this is the first time I've ever seen her step into the pool! Must be old age and forgetfulness! PS. I put a little duct tape on the hole and it's holding a full pool of water now. will last til I get them a new pool!
