This has been, if I must say so, an absolutely amazingly fun day! It has been filled with so many people in my life that I Love--Kristi and John and Paige, Hannah, Tressa and Noah, a surprise visitor to town, Emily Z. (who I wish I could see a lot more often) and her sister Kim and her friend Robin. Was so Great to see Kim and meet Robin--it's been Years! and saw many other family members this morning at the Rose Festival Parade in State Center. After spending some time up and down the streets, we headed for Todd and Aly's for Aiden's 5th BD! And there we spent an afternoon enjoying Aly's mom, Beth and her fiance, Gary and Gary's kids. Complete with good conversation and delicious cake and ice cream--it turned into a fun Birthday party. After that, Danny and I headed for Ames for supper, but decided instead to go to Boone and eat! Yummy! Then back to Sam's Club--we love Sam's Club -- for one of their wonderful watermelons (They are the BEST!) and now home. and in the middle of it all, we got more rain wooohooo! So thanks to all of you for making this such a great day! Forgot to mention---all day long, I did not take one picture! So I have stolen a few of Aly's from the party and will add a picture that Troy put on FB of our cute little Grand daughter, Callie Jane who turned 8 today. They are in St. Louis this weekend for her and her sister Cloey's BD (in another week or so). I left my camera in the car in my purse all day--I hate when I do that! It did not, however, cloud one minute of this magnificent Day!
